    Alvaro Santiago Mouriño González (Montevideo, Uruguay, 13/02/2002) is a versatile Spanish-Uruguayan defender who can play as a centre-back or right-back. In addition to his youth, Mouriño stands out for his strength, speed, and security when defending, as well as his good ball control.

    He came through the youth ranks of Uruguay's Club Nacional de Football before joining Racing Club de Montevideo in 2022. A year later, he was signed by Atlético de Madrid, although he played on loan at Real Zaragoza during the 2023/2024 season. The season prior to joining the U20, he played for Deportivo Alavés, making a total of 27 official appearances. Santiago Mouriño is a Uruguay international.
