Villarreal CF, through the Endavant Cultura programme, promotes cultural aspects both of the province of Castellón and relating to the club. The club carries out actions that promote the arts, literature and music of our region.
Collaborations with festivals
At the moment, Villarreal are collaborating with the SanSan Festival and Rototom Sunsplash, two festivals which are held annually at the Benicàssim festival site.
At the SanSan Festival, Villarreal season-ticket holders can enjoy significant discounts to the most important indie festival in Spain. Alongside this important festival, Villarreal CF has promoted Groc Talent, a revolutionary music competition that has already been running for several editions and promotes the talent of artists and bands from the province of Castellón, giving them the opportunity to perform in front of hundreds of fans before Villarreal CF matches at the Estadio de la Cerámica. To top it all off, the winner of Groc Talent is part of the exclusive line-up of artists at the SanSan Festival.
Literary works
Likewise, in recent years, Villarreal CF has collaborated in the publication of different literary works linked to the Submarine’s history and culture, such as the children’s book ‘¿Dónde está Groguet?’ (Where is Groguet?) or ‘Dies de Futbol’ (‘Football Days’), by Luis Aleixandre.
