Since 2016, Villarreal CF has had a Compliance Programme in place, designed to prevent potential criminal and reputational risks to which the Club may be exposed. The main document of the Compliance Programme is the Code of Ethics, which you can access via the following link: CODE OF ETHICS.
As part of this programme, Villarreal CF has set up an external, confidential and anonymous Ethical Channel, available to both internal and external stakeholders. This channel can be used to report suspected breaches of the Compliance Programme, applicable regulations, or to raise questions and concerns related to these matters. We encourage you to report any suspected misconduct or raise any queries you may have regarding the Club’s Compliance Programme or applicable legislation.
Villarreal CF is firmly committed to integrity and ethics as a core corporate principle, which includes zero tolerance towards any form of retaliation against those who report suspected misconduct in good faith.
You can access the Ethical Channel at the following email address: cumplimiento@villarrealcf.es.
The principles governing the Ethical Channel are:
Guarantee of confidentiality of the whistleblower’s identity, as well as that of the reported party and any other affected individuals or third parties, in addition to the information and investigation process itself.
Protection of the privacy, dignity and honour of all persons involved.
Priority and urgent handling, depending on the nature of the communication or report.
Thorough investigation of reported facts, carried out by specialised professionals where necessary.
Guarantee of the presumption of innocence and the right to defence for the parties involved.
Assurance that appropriate measures will be taken, including disciplinary action when required.
Protection against retaliation.
Possibility of submitting communications and/or reports anonymously.
Anonymous reporting procedure
