Villarreal CF has been involved in the world of eSports for several seasons, a sector which has been growing rapidly throughout recent years. After starting out in the VFO competition(Virtual Football Organisation) , they are now participating in eLaLiga Santander, the official Spanish FIFA competition, created thanks to the collaboration between LaLiga and Electronic Arts (EA).
 
The Yellow Submarine has a partnership with Qlash, one of the biggest teams in the world of eSports. As a result of this partnership, the Submarine is preparing to enter the League of Legends competition in 2023, where they will play in the second division.
 
The official Villarreal CF eSports team for the FIFA game, is represented by Adrián Cifuentes (@AdriCifuentes_) and Valentín Bandeo (@Lavinten_YK) as players and Rubén Ripoll (KensuKe_) as the coach and team manager.
 
A top-level team to face a demanding season
 
Adrián Cifuentes is facing his third season wearing the colours of Villarreal CF. At 18 years of age, the young player from Albacete is one of the greatest talents in Europe competing in FIFA.
 
Valentín Bandeo, only 17 years old, is enjoying his second season as a CVF eSports player. The Barcelona born player has great potential and a bright future ahead of him.
 
For another season, the team will be led by Rubén Ripoll, who will be the coach of the ‘Yellow’ team. Ripoll has a lot of experience in the world of FIFA and in recent years he has established himself as a benchmark in the national scene. His knowledge and skills behind the screen make him the perfect coach to guide the Villarreal CF team once again.
