Endavant Esports
Villarreal CF, through the Endavant Esports program and the Villarreal CF Foundation, sponsors several clubs and athletes in the province of Castellón with the aim of collaborating in the growth and promotion of elite provincial sport. The project consists of economic and sports support, since the club, in addition to providing economic benefits to the members of the program, also makes available its medical services and the use of its facilities.
This support initiative began with the club’s support for beach volleyball player Pablo Herrera, after he won the silver medal at the 2004 Athens Olympics. Since then, the club has progressively increased its commitment to the project. In recent years, it has invested more than 700,000 euros in this ambitious patronage program that contributes to promoting elite sport in the province of Castellón.
Through Endavant Esports, Villarreal CF and the Foundation demonstrate their commitment to provincial elite sport, which every year has more representatives from different disciplines both on the national and international scene. The Olympic events in Beijing 2008, Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020 have featured athletes who are part of the Endavant Esports program.
In the current 2021/22 season, Villarreal CF sponsors a total of 33 clubs and 16 athletes from the province of Castellón.
