1: What is an NFC Pass?

An NFC Pass is a digital pass that can be stored in the Google Wallet app on your smartphone and/or Android smartwatch. It can be used to enter the Estadio de la Cerámica by simply touching your device to the reader at the gate.

Since 10th June 2024, the Google Wallet requires the phone to use Android 9 or later operating systems. If you have a Google Wallet on your smartwatch, it needs Wear OS 2.18 or newer.

2: Why use an NFC pass?

NFC Passes for Android smartphones and/or smartwatches are easier, faster and more secure to use, eliminating the need to search in pockets or wallets. Plus, customers no longer have to worry about losing their physical ticket.

3: How do I add my NFC pass to my Google Wallet?

Once you have completed the purchase process, you will receive a confirmation email which includes a link to add the digital season ticket to Google Wallet. If you don’t have the Google Wallet app installed, it will ask you to download it. To downlaod the app, and add the ticket, follow the instructions on screen.

4: How can I see all my digital tickets?

All tickets that you have added can be seen by opening Google Wallet on your Android smartphone or smartwatch.

5:  Can I send a digital ticket to someone else?

You can share your digital tickets from your Google Wallet with someone else. Follow these instructions to share them:

  1. Press ‘Share’
    • You can share a season ticket if the option ‘Share’ appears
  2. Press ‘Share now’
    • Once you share the link, the person who receives it can send it to anyone
    • Once you share the link, you can’t delete the message

 

6: Can I have various tickets on one Android smartphone or smartwatch?

Yes, multiple digital tickets can be downloaded to a single Android smartphone or smartwatch. Once selected, you can swipe left and right to see all those available to you.

7: How do I enter the Estadio de la Cerámica with my ticket?

You will receive a notification as you approach the Estadio de la Cerámica, indicating which tickets are available to you. As you approach the reader, tap the notification to select the appropriate one, look for the contactless logo on the reader and tap your Android smartphone or smartwatch. If you have multiple tickets, you can swipe left or right to access them one by one and swipe them on the reader to enter. If you don’t receive the notification, you can access your digital entries by opening Google Wallet and scrolling to find the correct entry.

8: How do I find my ticket if the notification does not appear automatically on my Android smartphone screen?

If you don’t find it, open your phone at the turnstiles:

  • Open the Google Wallet app
  • Swipe up to find your season ticket
  • Press your ticket
  • Place the phone close to the contactless logo in the turnstile.

9: I have not received a notification on my Android smartphone lock screen.

The notification on the lock screen is based on your proximity to the location, and if Location Services is turned off it will not be displayed. To enable location services, follow these instructions:

  1. In Settings, select Privacy and then Location Services.
  2. Enable Location Services if they are disabled.
  3. Scroll down and make sure that the Google Wallet application has the ‘While using the application’ option selected.

11: Can I delete my digital ticket?

Yes. To delete your digital ticket from your Android smartphone, do the following:

  1. Open the Google Wallet app on your telephone
  2. Find the ticket you want to delete
  3. Select the ticket
  4. Press ‘More’ and then ‘Remove

If you want to delete it from your Android smartwatch:

  1. Open the Google Wallet app on your smartwatch
  2. Scroll to the ticket you want to delete and select it
  3. Scroll through the screen that has the details of the ticket
  4. Select ‘remove ticket’

12: Can I still use my physical ticket?

Yes, if you have already got a physical season ticket, this can be used to access the Estadio de la Cerámica; however, once this physical ticket has been scanned, the digital ticket will no longer allow entry.
