Arnau Tenas Ureña (Vic, Barcelona, 30/05/2001) is a young goalkeeper known for his extraordinary reflexes and quick reactions to short-range shots. He also stands out for his excellent footwork and ball distribution.
The Catalan shot-stopper came through the youth ranks at FC Barcelona, where he shone as one of the most promising goalkeepers in Spanish football. In March 2019, at just 17 years old and still a youth player, he made his debut for FC Barcelona B.
His impressive performances for the Barça reserves attracted the attention of top European clubs, and in 2023 he signed for Paris Saint-Germain. With the French side, he won six trophies, including the UEFA Champions League, although he did not enjoy the playing time he hoped for.
Among Arnau Tenas’s greatest achievements are the Olympic gold medal at the Paris 2024 Games, where he was Spain’s starting goalkeeper, and the UEFA European Under-19 Championship won with Spain in 2019. The young Catalan keeper has been a regular at youth levels with the Spanish national team and was even called up to the senior Spain squad in 2022, stepping up from the Under-21s to cover for an absent teammate.
