Villarreal CF president, Fernando Roig, and the CEO, Fernando Roig Negueroles, took part in the twinning ceremony for the Valencia Trinidad Alfonso Marathon along with the community's elite clubs, held in the Caixabank office, located in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento in Valencia. The Submarine were in favour of the ceremony along with the rest of the Primera División clubs in the Valencia community - Valencia CF and Levante UD -, Valencia Basket and SD Correcaminos, the organiser of the event.
The main elite sport clubs in the Comunidad Valenciana have returned to seal their twinning for a further year with the Valencia Trinidad Alfonso EDP Marathon, which will take place on the 1st December, and will continue to bring together different sectors in the 'Fiesta del Maratón'.
The four clubs followed the protocol of exchanging shirts with the marathon organiser to show their support for a race that now involves hundreds of runners from different running clubs, with the clubs also taking part in the Runners' Fair Expo Deporte, as well as getting involved in the animation points throughout the race.
Salma Paralluelo backs the Teika Challenge 2020
The women's first team footballer, Salma Paralluelo also took part in the twinning ceremony for the Valencia Marathon. The Yellows player was photographed along with the representatives of the other clubs in the ceremony, and thus supporting the Teika Challenge 2020. This challenge, driven by the women's football sponsor at Villarreal CF, for the next edition, aims to register an increase in the women's census in one of the most important athletic events on the national scene.
