In Burgos, the Yellows faced the hosts, Fuenlabrada and Rayo
Villarreal CF’s team with intellectual disabilities (known as EDI in Spanish), travelled Burgos CF’s training ground this weekend to take part in the third stage of LaLiga Genuine. The Yellows face CF Fuenlabrada, Burgos CF and Fundación Rayo Vallecano.
The Yellows went into Burgos after a great first stage of the inclusive football tournament in Tarragona, with two wins over Racing de Ferrol (3-1) and Andorra FC (1-3), and a defeat to Racing Club (3-1). In the second stage, in A Coruña, the Submarine lost three matches, against Cartagena (0-2), Fundación Albacete (2-1) and Real Oviedo (2-1).
Here are the results for Villarreal this weekend:
- Villarreal CF vs CF Fuenlabrada: 1-3
- Burgos CF vs Villarreal CF: 3-1
- Villarreal CF vs Fundación Rayo Vallecano: 0-4
