    Third place in the prestigious Mohammed VI International Cup 2026

    Villarreal CF U17s (Juvenil B) beat FUS Rabat (5-1) in the third-place play-off

    Villarreal CF’s U17s (Juvenil B) took part in the eighth edition of the Mohammed VI Academy International Tournament, held last week in Rabat, Morocco. After being eliminated in the semi-finals, the Yellow team secured a convincing 5-1 victory over FUS Rabat in the third-place play-off.

    Coached by Saúl Fernández, Villarreal defeated Vitoria Guimaraes (5-2) and RS Bernake (2-1) in the group stage, suffering their only defeat against Leeds United (0-1). In the quarter-finals, the Yellows knocked out Aspire Academy on penalties after a 1-1 draw, before narrowly losing (0-1) to HNK Hajduk Split in the semi-finals.
