Roig has predicted a prosperous future for the sponsorship agreement with Ascale, presented this Tuesday at its facilities
Villarreal CF and Ascale presented this Tuesday the sponsorship agreement that makes the Castellón-based company one of the club’s official sponsors until June 2025. The event, part of the third edition of Cerámica Experience, was held at the Pamesa Group company’s facilities and was attended by the president of the Yellows’ club, Fernando Roig, and Ascale’s commercial manager, Ramón Benlloch.
During the appearance, the Villarreal president valued the agreement: “The collaboration with Ascale is very important at a business level, between Villarreal and ceramics, incorporating a new company such as Ascale, which we hope will help us and that we can promote them.”
Fernando Roig also announced the club’s new official sponsor: “Ascale is the youngest company in the Pamesa group, manufacturing something that the Pamesa group did not have. Large-format pieces for both indoor and outdoor use. It has been running for seven years and since 2023 it has been part of the group.”
In the same way, he predicted a prosperous future between the two entities: “Everything that means having a good sponsor like Ascale and them having an ambassador like us, helps us both to promote ourselves and to benefit from it. Football and ceramics is a marriage that should go hand in hand in this province.”
The Villarreal president also highlighted the important role of ceramics in the province of Castellón: “95% of what is produced in ceramics in Spain is in the province of Castellón, and the aim is to promote ceramics through Villarreal. It is something that involves all of us and many cities and towns in the province. The sponsorship will be launched this Friday against Real Sociedad.”
Finally, in his role as a ceramics businessman, Roig has been optimistic about the expectations of 2024 in this sector: “The year 2023 has been complicated, the politicians have not known how to manage the situation of climate change. It has been speculative. Fortunately, in 2024 everything has stabilised. We are going to have a spectacular year in the province in terms of ceramics, in fact, I tell you that we are going to play in the Champions League or even win it.”
The event was also attended by Villarreal CF head coach Marcelino García Toral, as well as first team captains Raúl Albiol, Gerard Moreno, Dani Parejo and Manu Trigueros, and members of the club’s board of directors.
Thanks to this alliance, Ascale will incorporate its logo on the back of the official Villarreal CF playing shirt, showing its logo for the first time as of this Friday’s game against Real Sociedad. The club will also give visibility to Ascale in the different official sponsorship supports of the club.
