Villarreal launch ‘100 anys de pel·lícula’

The centenary documentary will be shown free of charge at Cines Sucre in Vila-real

Villarreal CF presented the official centenary documentary, 100 anys de pel·lícula, at an event held in the new press room at the Estadio de la Cerámica. In this renovated space, a short teaser was shown as a preview of the audiovisual, which will be screened free of charge at Cines Sucre in Vila-real after reaching an agreement with the city’s cinemas.

Villarreal CF and Cines Sucre have confirmed that they will screen four sessions of 100 anys de pel·lícula on the following dates (each session will consist of 120 tickets):

  • Friday 22nd December, 10:10pm
  • Saturday 23rd December, 8:05pm
  • Monday 25th December 10:10pm
  • Tuesday 26th December, 10:10pm

In order to enjoy the documentary, Yellows fans must collect their tickets for the film free of charge and while stocks last at the Official Store of the Estadio de la Cerámica, whose opening hours for the next few days are as follows:

  • Wednesday 20th December: 1:30pm to 9:30pm
  • Thursday 21st December: 11am to 7pm
  • Friday 22nd December: 10am to 6pm

The official centenary documentary recounts, from the inside and through the voices of more than fifty protagonists, the most outstanding passages in the history of Villarreal CF. In detail and with curious anecdotes from various stages, it reviews the most exciting moments and delves into the most significant characters of the 100 years of the Yellow Submarine’s life.

The launch of this audiovisual piece was one of the focal points of the closing ceremony of the centenary, along with the presentation of the book and an emotional tribute to the club’s former presidents. In addition to the broadcast of the teaser, the journalist Javi Mata, director of the documentary, made a public appearance, accompanied by Guille Ortega, the film’s director.
