Villarreal CF, in front of their fans, will try and get a win over Real Madrid (Saturday 15th, 6:30pm CET)
Villarreal CF will host Real Madrid at the Estadio de la Cerámica. The match corresponding to Matchday 28 of 2024/25 LALIGA EA Sports season will take place next Saturday 15th March, at 6:30pm CET.
Marcelino’s side go into the game on the back of a 1-0 defeat to Deportivo Alavés last Saturday at Mendizorroza. In Vitoria, the Submarine saw their six-match unbeaten run come to an end.
Real Madrid, currently in second place in the standings, were victorious in their last league game against Rayo Vallecano (2-1). However, Ancelotti’s side lost their last outing against Real Betis, dropping all three points in Seville (2-1).
The Submarine go into the clash with the ambition to remain strong at the Estadio de la Cerámica and remain in contention for the UEFA Champions League places, while Los Blancos need the three points to keep their grip on FC Barcelona and Atlético de Madrid in the LALIGA EA Sports title race.
