The new signings for the first-team squad have received the medical card from the club’s healthcare provider

Villarreal CF and health insurance company ASISA are continuing to work together for the ninth season in a row. The new first-team signings for the Yellow Submarine: Logan Costa, Thierno Barry, Luiz Júnior, Willy Kambwala, Diego Conde, Ayoze Pérez, Pape Gueye, Sergi Cardona, Nicolas Pepe and Juan Bernat, have received the ASISA medical card from Villarreal’s official healthcare provider. With the latest arrivals now owning the card, every player in the first team now has access to the services and help offered by the leading health insurance company.

The handing over of the cards took place at the Estadio de la Cerámica, with the ceremony attended by ASISA CEO, Dr Javier Gómez-Ferrer and the ASISA regional director for Castellón, César Gozalbo.

ASISA has been the official healthcare provider of Villarreal Club de Fútbol since January 2016. As official healthcare provider, ASISA is responsible for the medical and health care of Villarreal CF’s first team squad, its academy teams and club employees. The company offers them a wide range of medical services and access to the latest treatments and the most innovative technological and healthcare advances in the fields of prevention, health, nutrition and wellbeing.

Commitment to the promotion of sport

This agreement with Villarreal CF is based on the corporate principals of ASISA. One if its most recognisable hallmarks is a solid commitment to the patronage and sponsorship of a multitude of social, cultural and sporting activities.

Because of this, the insurance company strongly encourages education and healthy lifestyle habits. This commitment is materialised through both the support and sponsorship of different organisations and sports clubs, with the objective of promoting sports from the grassroots level and supporting young athletes.

The values ASISA wants to transmit and promote among youths, through these sports sponsorships, are teamwork, competitiveness, personal growth and perseverance.
