

Villarreal CF will support the 72nd edition of the historic cycle race in the province of Castellón
Villarreal CF once more underlines its support for provincial sport. The Yellow Submarine has thrown its support behind the Gran Premio Vila-real-Morella, which will become part of the Endavant Esports family. Endavant Esports is a project whereby Villarreal CF sponsors clubs, athletes and competitions within the Castellón province with the aim of collaborating in their growth and promoting elite provincial sport.
The Yellows will collaborate economically with this cycle race. The contest, which was launched this afternoon at the Plaza Mayor in Vila-real, has two stages, which will take place on Friday and Saturday. The first of them, from Vila-real to Morella, will take place on Friday, with the cyclists leaving the Plaza Mayor in Vila-real at 1:30pm CEST. The second stage will take place on Saturday, with the return leg from Morella to Vila-real, with the cyclists expected to arrive outside the Estadio de la Cerámica at 1:30pm CEST, where the finishing line will be. After ending the competition, the winners will receive their prizes outside the stadium, wearing a Villarreal CF shirt during the ceremony.
The traditional provincial race will involve the participation of Sebastián Mora, Endavant Esports athletes, who usually takes part on track cycling, of which he is world champion and three-times world champions in the Scratch category. The prestigious cyclist from Vila-real will take part with his team, Caja Rural-Seguros RGA.
The GP Vila-real-Morella, which this year is celebrating its 72nd edition, is one of the most important cycling competitions within the Castellón province. There will be 14 teams taking part from across the country, who will arrive in the province of Castellón excited to ride through hundreds of kilometres while they enjoy the beautiful countryside of the province.
