The Yellow Submarine have four pre-season friendlies confirmed, including two as part of a triangular tournament in Oviedo
Villarreal CF’s first team will return to work on Monday 7th July. The first three days (7th, 8th and 9th July) will be dedicated to medical tests, with players reporting in groups to the José Manuel Llaneza Training Ground. The first training session on the pitch, under the guidance of Marcelino García Toral, will take place on Thursday 10th July, with the time still to be confirmed.
The Yellow Submarine already have four pre-season friendlies confirmed, two of which form part of a triangular tournament in Oviedo. The confirmed fixtures are as follows:
Friday 25th July:
• Sporting Clube de Portugal vs Villarreal CF at the Estadio Nacional do Jamor (kick-off time to be confirmed)
Thursday 31st July – Triangular tournament:
• Villarreal CF vs Genoa CFC at the Estadio Carlos Tartiere (7:00pm CEST)
• Real Oviedo vs Villarreal CF at the Estadio Carlos Tartiere (9:00pm CEST)
Saturday 2nd August:
• Leeds United FC vs Villarreal CF at Elland Road (4:00pm CEST)
