Villarreal CF have made the traditional Christmas visit to hospitals in the province of Castellón. Men’s first-team players Yeremy Pino, Nico Jackson and women’s first-team players players Vera Rico and Yenifer Giménez went to the Hospital Universitario de La Plana in the middle of the Christmas festivities to give presents to the little ones who are in hospital at this special time of year.
The footballers surprised the children at the centre, who were able to meet their Villarreal idols first-hand and receive all kinds of official Yellow Submarine gifts.
Christmas visits to nearby hospitals
In addition to the La Plana hospital, Villarreal CF visited the General Universitario hospital in Castellón and the La Fe hospital in Valencia. The club’s mascot, Groguet, handed out gifts at the Castellón, while the Yellows’ ambassador Marcos Senna went to the Valencian capital to make the dreams of the youngest children admitted there come true.
