Villarreal CF has received a special visit from the Hungarian club, which has a professional co-operation agreement with the club

Villarreal CF received a special visit from Debreceni VSC last February. The Hungarian team, with whom the Submarine has a professional co-operation agreement, visited the club’s sports facilities, represented by a delegation made up of two coaches and two players from the team from Debrecen.

The coaches experienced a full immersion with the Villarreal U16s’ coaching staff, met with the head of youth football recruitment and with the team of psychologists. To conclude this enriching experience, they shared their impressions with the director of methodology of the Yellow Submarine.

While the coaches got to know the Villarreal way of working, the Hungarian players Zalan (2005) and Mark (2008) trained and were able to play friendly matches with the best teams in their age groups from the Yellows Academy.

To round off the experience in Vila-real, the Debreceni VSC delegation enjoyed Villarreal CF’s match against FC Barcelona at the new-look Estadio de la Cerámica.

Villarreal, committed to the sporting growth of DVSC

Villarreal CF has signed a cop-operation agreement with Debreceni Vasutas Sport Club in Hungary. Through this partnership, which lasts for three years, the Submarine will put its methodology at the service of the Hungarian team’s academy for the development of its young talents. In addition, as a result of this agreement, three Villarreal youth coaches, Pablo Alberola, Carlos Ibáñez and Álex Viña, have settled in Debrecen to focus their efforts on the growth of the DVSC youth academy until the end of the current season.
