Robert Kobza has been a fan of the Yellow Submarine since 2008
Robert Kobza is a fan based in Radom, Poland. He started following Villarreal after Euro 2008, when he was only 11 years old and noticed Capdevila, Senna and Cazorla, players of the Submarine who had just won the European Championship with the Spanish national team. Since then, he claims to have fallen in love with the club and started following the club thanks to these players.
In 2018 he fulfilled his dream: to visit the Estadio de la Cerámica. It wasn’t the best match, as Villarreal lost 1-2 to Deportivo Alavés, but he still had an unforgettable experience. He also had the opportunity to support the team this season in the UEFA Europa Conference League match against Lech Poznan in Poland. He is looking forward to returning this year and visiting the new Estadio de la Cerámica.
For Robert, Marcos Senna was a true leader and is a club legend, but he admits that his idol has always been Giuseppe Rossi, as he explains that he also suffered several knee injuries, making him an inspiration to him and reminding him of his early years as a groguet. “Everyone remembers that Christmas video from 2010 with Giuseppe Rossi, Santi Cazorla, Gonzalo Rodríguez, Joan Capdevila and Diego López,” adds Robert. He also admits that his best memory as a Yellows fan is that, despite not having a ticket to watch the final live, he did have the opportunity to feel the atmosphere and meet more groguets in Poland.
Robert is very happy and proud to be a Villarreal fan in Poland, that’s why he is the main administrator of the Facebook group “Villarreal CF Polska”, where he has created a community of about 50 people. His hope is that the community of fans in Poland will continue to grow, that is why he donated his first Villarreal shirt to the biggest YouTube channel that talks about sports in Poland “Kanał Sportowy”, who have the shirt hanging on the official broadcasts of the matches, to make the club more visible and popular in the country.
