Villarreal CF, in collaboration with AVAF, is promoting a toy collection campaign for Saturday 9th December
Villarreal CF has launched a toy collection campaign in collaboration with the Association of Foster Care Volunteers (‘Asociación de Voluntarios de Acogimiento Familiar’ – AVAF) in the province of Castellón ahead of the match against Real Sociedad, which will be held on Saturday 9th December (6:30pm CET) at the Estadio de la Cerámica.
On the same day, the provincial delegation of this association will set up a collection point in the Fan Zone during the pre-match. At this stand, which will be located outside Fondo Sur, the fans will be able to drop off toys in good condition to be given to children and youngsters aged 0 to 12 years old from 4:30pm.
Through the Endavant Solidaritat programme, Villarreal CF and the Villarreal CF Foundation promote a wide variety of solidarity actions, integrated within the framework of collaboration with associations, foundations and special centres in the province of Castellón and the Valencia region.

The Asociación de Voluntarios de Acogimiento Familiar (“Association of Foster Care Volunteers” – AVAF) is a non-profit organisation founded in 1988, declared a Public Utility Entity in 2004. Present at regional level in the Region of Valencia, since its origins it has accompanied and committed itself to families.
The mission of this organisation is to defend children’s rights, promote foster care, accompany and guide foster families, carry out educational and recreational activities for children and adolescents in foster care and in situations of social vulnerability, prevent gender violence in adolescent couples and promote social volunteering as a way of life.
