The Plaza at Estadio de la Cerámica will host this spectacular celebration for all groguet supporters on Saturday 13th June
Fan Fest is back in style for its fourth edition following the success of previous years. This popular, free event will take place on Saturday 13th June from 5:30pm CEST.
As a new and exceptional change, this year’s celebration will be held at the Plaza of Estadio de la Cerámica due to the ongoing works at the groguet ground, allowing supporters to continue enjoying this special day.
Organised by Villarreal CF in collaboration with Peña Celtic Submarí, the festival will feature live music, games and bouncy castles for children, as well as a wide range of food and drink options.
As usual, the event will also have a strong charitable focus. All funds raised will go to ASPANION (Association of Parents of Children with Cancer of the Valencian Community), an organisation the club supports through Endavant Solidaritat.
In previous editions, Fan Fest has raised significant charitable funds, including €28,432 in its first edition, €23,535 in the second, and €31,400 last year.
Cursa Solidària Celtic Submarí, one of the main attractions
The 13th Cursa Solidària Celtic Submarí Memorial José Manuel Llaneza will once again be one of the highlights of the day, with both the start and finish line located on Calle Ermita, opposite Estadio de la Cerámica.
This year’s edition will once again feature two categories:
Individual walk:
The route will be 2.5km and is open to participants of all ages. The registration fee is €7 per participant, and it is a non-competitive event. The walk will start at 7pm.
Pairs race:
The race will cover a 6km route through Vila-real, combining asphalt and dirt paths. The minimum age to participate is 14 (born in 2012 or earlier), and participants can compete in three categories: men’s pairs, women’s pairs or mixed pairs. This race will be chip-timed. Registration costs €8 per participant, and the race will start at 8pm.
Supporters who wish to take part can register from today, Friday, until Sunday 31st May via the following link:
Live music to set the tone
Live music will once again play a key role in the event. Villarreal CF will set up a stage in the square outside the Estadio de la Cerámica, where Roble, Los Dalton and La Pop.era will perform.
Roble, winner of the sixth edition of Groc Talent, the music competition organised by Villarreal CF in collaboration with the SanSan Festival, will be the first to perform. The artist from Ontinyent will take to the stage at 7.10pm.
Los Dalton and La Pop.era will bring the night to life from 9.15pm.
Throughout the day, attendees will also be able to enjoy food and drink areas, with all proceeds also going towards supporting ASPANION.
