Pedraza has discussed his role in the team and next Sunday’s match against Barça (5:30pm CEST)
Villarreal CF player, Alfonso Pedraza, appeared before the media in the press room of the José Manuel Llaneza Training Ground to talk about the match that awaits the Submarine next Sunday, at 5.30pm CEST, against FC Barcelona at the Estadio de la Cerámica.
These were the most important statements made by the Yellows’ full-back:
His physical situation
“I’ve just come back from an injury that kept me out for several days. I had to come on against Real Betis without warming up, which was a bit risky, but as the minutes went by I felt better and I ended up with a good feeling. Against RCD Mallorca I also felt good and I’m looking forward to the next game with the desire to give my all”.
Happy at Villarreal
“I am very happy here. In Vila-real I have found a level of stability, I feel the support of all the people and I feel important in the dressing room. I’m very comfortable and focused”.
FC Barcelona, next up in LaLiga
“We know it’s going to be a very difficult game in which we will suffer a lot without the ball because they will make us run a lot. We have to be patient and know how to take advantage of our moments on the ball.”
A key moment to continue growing
“Winning in Mallorca was a decisive moment for us. The team played well, we played a serious game and that gives us confidence for this Sunday’s game against one of the best teams in LaLiga. Beating FC Barcelona would give us a lot of morale for everything to come.”
