Registration for the Celtic Submarí Charity Race (24th June) opens at 18:00 this evening
Villarreal CF is getting ready for the ‘Fiesta de la Afición’ (Fan Festival). The Yellows will be holding an open day at the Estadio de la Cerámica on 24th June. The event, which forms part of the calendar of events celebrating the #CentenariGroguet centenary, will consist of an impressive festive day of fun for the enjoyment of the Yellows’ fans.
A free party for all Yellows
This special day, which will start at 6pm, is free and open to the public. Yellows fans will have the opportunity to visit exclusive areas of the Estadio de la Cerámica following the impressive renovation of the stadium, as well as being able to enjoy different activities and games for fans of all ages.
Live music
The party will also feature live music. A stage will be set up on the pitch of the Estadio de la Cerámica and local bands such as La Aldea (winner of Groc Talent 2023), Los Dalton, Bad Way, Enfields and Vicente Añó will liven up this fantastic event, which will include food and drink stalls, the proceeds of which will go to Aspanion Niños con Cáncer (Aspanion: Children with Cancer).
The star event: Celtic Submarí Charity Race
As if that wasn’t enough, the highlight of the Fan Festival will be the celebration of the 10th Celtic Submarí Charity Race, a popular race, which this year as a great novelty will start from the square of the Estadio de la Cerámica and whose finish line will be located on the pitxh of the Yellows’ stadium.
A charity event, individual or in pairs
This race, organised by the Celtic Submarí supporters’ club in collaboration with Villarreal CF, is in the spirit of charity. The funds raised will be donated to the Valencian charity ASPANION Niños con Cáncer (ASPANION Children with Cancer).
It should be noted that the race is part of the Circuit de Carreres Populars de Vila-real. The event will start at 8pm and the distance covered is 6km. Supporters can sign up alone or in pairs. The price is 7 euros per participant.

The deadline for online registration is from Tuesday 25th April, from 6pm, until Sunday 18th June, before the race.

The runners’ fair
The race bibs and bags will be handed out on 23rd June from 6:30pm to 8:30pm at the headquarters of the Peña Celtic Submarí (Avinguda França, 42 in Vila-real) and on the day of the race from 6pm to 7:30pm in the Plaza del Estadio de la Cerámica.
