Marcelino García Toral is no longer Manager of the club
Marcelino García Toral is no longer Manager of Villarreal CF. The club wants to thank the Manager, and also Assistant Manager, Rubén Uría, and Fitness Coach, Ismael Fernández, for their work leading the Yellows for the last three and a half seasons, where they have achieved plenty of success, as they won promotion back to the First Division, qualified for European football, reached the Semi-finals in both the Europa League and the Copa del Rey and fourth position in the league last season qualifying them for the Champions League Play-offs this season.
Villarreal CF would like to wish Marcelino the best in his sporting career. In the next few hours his temporary or permanent replacement will be announced.
