Villarreal honour Endavant Esports athletes Pablo Herrera and Thierry Ndikumwenayo at the Yellows stadium
Villarreal paid tribute to the two Castellón-born athletes who competed at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games ahead of the first fixture of the LALIGA EA Sports season against Atlético de Madrid. Pablo Herrera (beach volleyball) and Thierry Ndikumwenayo (athletics), both of whom are part of the Endavant Esports program, received a warm reception from Yellows supporters on the pitch at the Estadio de la Cerámica.
Meanwhile, two other athletes were unable to attend the match: Endavant Esports cyclist and tennis player Sara Sorribes. Sorribes won the bronze medal at the Paris Olympics.
