Hundreds of fans came to donate blood at the Estadio de la Cerámica on Tuesday
Villarreal CF opened the doors of the Estadio de la Cerámica to once again host the blood donation campaign organised by the Department of Universal Health and Public Health of the Generalitat Valenciana. Thanks to this initiative, hundreds of Yellows have responded to the call for compassion and have come to donate blood in the heart of Vila-real.
As a reward, Villarreal CF has given each donor two tickets for the Villarreal B match against Elche (Sunday, 4:15pm CET).
Likewise, Marcos Senna, ambassador of the club, and Roberto Roig, head doctor of the Transfusion Centre of the Valencian Community, were present at the Estadio de la Cerámica to greet the donors and thank them for their collaboration with the Blood Donation campaign.
More than 10,000 donations at La Cerámica
Villarreal CF has been opening the doors of its stadium for more than two decades to host the Donate Blood campaign of the Department of Universal Health and Public Health of the Generalitat Valenciana. Since the 2001/02 season, when this collaboration began, more than 10,000 donations have been registered at the Estadio de la Cerámica.
This campaign is part of the Endavant Solidaritat programme, as part of Villarreal CF’s CSR and sustainability project.
