Villarreal CF hosted the traditional blood donation day which takes place at the Yellows’ stadium
Villarreal CF has opened the doors of the Estadio de la Cerámica for blood donation. The Yellows have hosted the 23rd blood donation campaign hosted by the Generalitat Valenciana’s Department of Universal Health and Public Health (Conselleria de Salut Universal i Salut Pública de la Generalitat Valenciana).
Thanks to this initiative, part of Endavant Solidaritat (the club’s CSR programme), 100s of fans and residents of the town have been able to donate blood in the heart of Vila-real.
As a thank you for donating, Villarreal CF have given each donor two tickets for one of the Yellows’ upcoming matches against Getafe or Rayo Vallecano.
The charity initiative, promoted by Villarreal CF, has been running for more than two decades. The Submarine opened the doors of their stadium in the 2001/02 season, when this collaboration was born. Since then, more than 10,000 donations have taken place at the Estadio de la Cerámica.
