A total of 220 participants enjoyed the tournament promoted by Villarreal CF on a public holiday in the town
La Vall d’Uixó enjoyed an unforgettable day thanks to the 3v3 ‘Copa Endavant’. On Monday 17th April, a local public holiday in honour of Saint Vincent, the town hosted the tournament organised by Villarreal CF to celebrate the club’s centenary in the different municipalities in the province of Castellón.
More than 220 players and 63 teams came together to enjoy one of the most fun sporting events in our province. The participants, boys and girls aged between 6 and 12, gathered at the CEIP L’Assumpció school at la Vall d’Uixó to compete and have a great time with Villarreal.
The winners were La Vall in the Groc category and Los Hat-trick in the Blau category, who sealed their place in the final, which will be held on 10th June on the pitch of the Estadio de la Cerámica. In addition, all the players received a special shirt for the tournament, as well as a backpack with a welcome pack.
In addition to the matches, Villarreal CF brought a wide variety of games, inflatables and activities to la Vall d’Uixó to ensure the little ones had fun. As if that wasn’t enough, the UEFA Europa League trophy, won in 2021 against Manchester United in Gdansk (Poland) also travelled to the town for fans to have their photo taken with it. Legendary ex-footballer and club ambassador Marcos Senna also visited the town.
