UEFA has decided to postpone next Thursday’s match against the Israeli team
Due to the current situation in Israel, UEFA has decided to postpone the match scheduled for Thursday 26th October between Villarreal and Maccabi Haifa at the Estadio de la Cerámica.
The match, corresponding to Matchday 3 of the UEFA Europa League 2023/24 group stage, will finally be played on Wednesday 6th December at the Estadio de la Cerámica, a date on which, in turn, the Second Round of the Copa del Rey will be held and which, should Villarreal CF qualify that round, their match would be played in a midweek fixture during the week of Monday 20th to Friday 24th November (date and time to be confirmed).
It should also be noted that the Maccabi Haifa vs Villarreal game scheduled for Thursday 9th November at 6.45pm CET has kept its original date, although it will be played on a neutral ground yet to be confirmed.
