A total of five former Yellows players have joined the Submarine’s squad for the tournament this summer
Villarreal continue to add members to their ranks ahead of their participation in The Soccer Tournament (TST). A total of five former players for the Submarine have offially joined the squad for the tournament in North Carolina this June.
Three homegrown talents from Vila-real will be heading to the United States, with César Arzo, Héctor Font and Xisco Nadal all confirmed for the tournament, which has a one-million dollar prize. Arzo, a coach in the Yellows Academy, will have a double role, not only as a player, but will also be the team’s coach.
David Fuster and Verza will also join the Yellows’ team, adding to the previous confirmations of Marcos Senna and Giuseppe Rossi.
Villarreal will kick-off their competition on Wednesday 5th June, facing North Carolina FC in Group J. The other teams in the group are Como 1907 and City Soccer Society.
All of the Yellows’ matches in the tournament will be streamed for free globally at thetournament.com.
