A difficult trip
“This is non-stop. We’re going out again to compete against a complicated team like Alavés, wheres the demands are going to be maximum. We have to get points away from home and the closest game is this one, so it’s the most important”.
The opposition
“Their coach has been with them for several seasons now. They have grown a lot and can adapt to any team in terms of structure. Undoubtedly, not only Sadiku, on an individual level they have a lot of resources, but their great strength is the team.”
To build on the point against Leganés
“A draw in the second division gives you life, but it’s true that we have to keep on getting points away from home. We haven’t lost at home and I hope it stays that way, but one day a team will come along that will make life difficult for us. We had a tough time against Leganés. We have to pick up points away. The last few away games we’ve played well, but there are details that change everything. Against Alavés, we had the game on track and they were awarded a penalty and in Huesca there was a direct free-kick where we couldn’t do anything. We’re playing well, but we have to make the small details work in our favour.”
Not playing like a B team
“This morning I asked the players what we have to do to continue in the second division. to continue in this line in the second division and they answered ‘not to be a B team’. We’re competing well, although we’ve had some difficult circumstances along the way. The youngsters are adapting to the division and the rivals already have a certain respect for us. As a team we are working very well and we have very internalised what we want to do, both in one structure and in another if the match requires it.”
