Villarreal B defender Maxi Villa suffered a tear to his right anterior cruciate ligament during the B team’s training session last Thursday at the Training Ground.
After undergoing an MRI scan which confirmed his injury, the defender will undergo surgery this Wednesday by Doctor Pedro Luis Ripoll at the Ripoll y de Prado Quirón FIFA Centre of Excellence in Murcia.
