Pacheta has celebrated his debut victory, although he recognises that there is still room for improvement in the coming matches
Villarreal head coach José Rojo ‘Pacheta’ was happy and praised the work of his players after the team’s last-gasp 2-1 win over UD Almería: “They put in a great effort. They ran a lot and we achieved an epic victory. The victory is good for us to improve, but we have to keep working, adjust many things that will make us grow and give continuity to the things we have done well.”
The Yellows coach acknowledged the great performance of the away side at La Cerámica: “They deserved more. They made us suffer and caused us problems. The result was cruel for them because they put in a very good performance.”
Finally, the coach assured that the team will improve in the next matches: “I’m really happy and even more so today with the win. We needed this victory. As soon as we have more confidence in attack, we will see more things. We haven’t been good in the duels. We weren’t good at pressing either. We ran a lot, but we didn’t always do it well. This match is good for us to analyse our mistakes, correct and adjust things.”
