The club will carry out several activations for International Day Against Breast Cancer

Villarreal CF is getting involved in the fight against breast cancer. Ahead of Thursday 19th October, International Day Against Breast Cancer, Villarreal will carry out several activities to support this important cause through its collaboration with the AECC (Spanish Association Against Cancer), as part of the club’s Endavant Solidaritat Social Responsibility programme.

The club will donate two shirts signed by Villarreal and Villarreal Women to AECC Castellón to be raffled among those attending a charity dinner organised by the association.

Villarreal Women, represented by two players from the B team, Yulisa Paz and Marta Ortells, will be present on Thursday 19th October at the Plaza Mayor in Castellón, where a human ribbon will be represented in commemoration of the date and a manifesto will be read. On the same day, Villarreal CF will light up the façade of the Estadio de la Cerámica in pink to raise awareness of the fight against this disease.

In addition, the Villarreal captain will wear a pink armband for the match against Alavés at the weekend, while the members of the coaching staff will wear a ribbon on their kit.

Finally, Villarreal CF will donate the 100 tickets to AECC Castellón for the match against Deportivo Alavés (Sunday 22nd October), and they can use them to raise funds.
