Villarreal CF will celebrate its 100th anniversary from the beginning of 2023, coinciding with its return to the Estadio de la Cerámica
Villarreal CF will begin celebrating the club’s centenary at the start of 2023, when it celebrates its 100th anniversary, coinciding with its return to the Estadio de la Cerámica. The club wants to celebrate in style at home with its fans and, for this reason, is organising various activities that will take place throughout the season and that will be announced at the opening ceremony of the centenary on Monday 19th December, at 7.23pm local time -a nod to the year of foundation-, in the Vila-real Auditorium. The event will be broadcast live on the club’s official media and will be open to fans (information on how to collect tickets will be provided in due course).
During this event, which will serve as the official kick-off to the centenary, Villarreal CF will unveil the entire calendar of events and activations that will kick off after the break for the World Cup in Qatar in the first match to be played at the Estadio de la Cerámica, against Valencia CF in the last days of December – pending official confirmation of the date -, corresponding to Matchday 15 of the 2022/23 LaLiga Santander season
De esta manera, en este primer espectáculo que servirá como el pistoletazo oficial al centenario, el Villarreal CF dará a conocer todo el calendario de eventos y activaciones que arrancarán tras el parón del Mundial de Catar en el primer partido que se disputará en el Estadio de la Cerámica, contra el Valencia CF en los últimos días de diciembre -a falta de la confirmación oficial de la fecha-, correspondiente a la jornada 15 de LaLiga Santander 2022-23.
