The winners were Alniper in the Groc category and Los Futboleros in the Blau category
The Copa Endavant came to Burriana on Saturday for the eighth day of the tournament held in the Plaça Josep Iturbi. This time, the star activity of the ‘Centenari Groguet’ tour, had 126 participants, divided into 36 different teams between the two groups: Groc for those born between 2011 and 2013 and Blau for those born between 2014 and 2016. The tournament guaranteed fun for all participants, who received a special t-shirt to take part in the competition, as well as a backpack with a welcome pack.
The winners were Alniper in the Groc category and Los Futboleros in the Blau category. The champions received their respective medals from Burriana’s councillor for sports, Vicent Aparisi, and sealed their place in the grand final, which will be held on 10th June on the pitch of the Estadio de la Cerámica.
In addition to the matches, Villarreal CF brought a wide variety of games, inflatables and activities to the Fan Zone to ensure the little ones had fun. As if that wasn’t enough, the UEFA Europa League trophy, won in 2021 against Manchester United in Gdansk (Poland), was also on display for fans to take photos with. Legendary ex-footballer and club ambassador Marcos Senna also watched the tournament and greeted the various participants.
The successful competition has already taken place in Segorbe, Almassora, Benicàssim, Nules, La Vall d’Uixó, Vinaròs, Vila-real and Burriana.
