‘A Star In Your School’ continues to bring Villarreal footballers to schools across the province of Castellón
Villarreal right-back, Adrià Altimira, and Villarreal Women goalkeeper, Carmen Carbonell, visited CEIP Lluís Tena de Sant Jordi school this Thursday thanks to the ‘A Star In Your School’ activity, part of the Endavant Club Groguet initiative of the Endavant programme.
The pupils of the school in Sant Jordi had the opportunity to get to know the most personal side of both footballers, satisfy their curiosity with all kinds of questions and, of course, have their photos taken and get their autographs.

Through the ‘A Star In Your School’ activity, Villarreal CF has been bringing the club closer to the youngest children in the province of Castellón since the 2014/15 season. A number of Villarreal CF men’s and women’s first-team players have visited schools in the province of Castellón over the last few years.
This season, as well as Altimira and Carbonell, other players such as Jorge Cuenca and Tere Morató (Colegio Virgen del Carmen in Vila-real) and Filip Jörgensen and Paolo Soldevila (CEIP Miralcamp in Onda) have taken part in this activity. Players from both the men and women’s first teams will continue visiting more schools throughout the rest of the season to enjoy spending time for the youngsters.
