Villarreal Women head coach Jordi Ferriols spoke to V Play to analyse the build-up to the match against CD Alba Fundación Femenino, which will be played at Pitch five at the José Manuel Llaneza Training Ground on Saturday at 4pm.
The Yellow head coach assured that the team are in good condition after the competitive break: “It has been two very good weeks. We have disconnected, enjoyed ourselves and celebrated, but now we are ready to face this final stretch of the season.”
Speaking about the opposition, the Vila-real native warned of the difficulty of the clash against a side also fighting for their own objectives: “Albacete are a team with very good players, especially going forward. They are also a very hard-working team, with very clear principles both in and out of possession. It will be a difficult match. They are also trying to reach the play-offs and, as always in this league, it will be a very competitive game.”
Finally, the Villarreal Women head coach highlighted the keys to approaching this decisive stage with confidence: “We have to respect our principles, return to our essence and compete like we have done throughout the whole season. We want to take positive feelings into the play-offs and approach them in the best possible way.”
