The Day of the Fan Card Holder takes centre stage in the build-up to the clash with the Galician side
Villarreal CF have prepared a day packed full of activities to enjoy the build-up to the match against RC Celta de Vigo, corresponding to Matchday 32 of LALIGA EA Sports, which will take place this Sunday 26th April at 9pm CEST at the Estadio de la Cerámica.
A day dedicated to supporters and Fan Zone fun
The main attraction this Sunday will be the celebration of Day of the Fan Card Hodler, which will get under way at 1:30pm with a visit to the retro shirt exhibition. After the exhibition, supporters will enjoy a meal at the APV headquarters. In the afternoon, fans will have the chance to delve into the club’s history with access to Immersión Villarreal. As the highlight of the day, supporters will walk onto the pitch to have their photo taken with the Yellow Submarine’s starting XI.
Meanwhile, from 7pm, the square outside the Estadio de la Cerámica will host a vibrant Fan Zone, featuring live music from DJ Theo. Younger fans will be able to enjoy the Groguet Club area, which will include a free-play 3×3 pitch, face painting, arts and crafts workshops and a ball pit. In addition, the matchday build-up will also feature the usual EA Sports Play Zone, an Ambar Triple Zero activation and a vehicle exhibition courtesy of Quadis Marzá.
Charitable commitment and on-pitch recognition
The spirit of Endavant Solidaritat will also be present around the Yellow Submarine’s stadium thanks to AVAF. The association will raise awareness of foster care through the children’s workshop ‘A welcoming home’, where youngsters will be able to draw their families, as well as the participatory mural ‘Volunteering leaves its mark’, open to all attendees.
Finally, the Estadio de la Cerámica will pay tribute on the pitch to the achievements of the Yellows Academy. In the pre-match build-up, the club will recognise Sara Rubert and Alexandra Svandova, newly crowned Spain U14 champions with the Valencia regional team. At half-time, it will be the turn of the Yellow Cup Easter winners. The U14s (Gold Champions), the U18s (Gold Champions) and the Fundación Villarreal U18s (Silver Champions) will be applauded by the fans after their outstanding performances in the tournament.
