The Yellows will play two matches in Andalusia against UD Almería and CF Fuenlabrada
LALIGA Genuine Moeve takes place this weekend in Cádiz with its second phase of the 2025/26 season. Villarreal EDI (team with intellectual disabilities)will travel to Cádiz to enjoy another great weekend of sport and inclusion and play two exciting matches against UD Almería and CF Fuenlabrada.
Villarreal EDI will kick off their weekend against Almería on Saturday at 6pm and will return to the pitch on Sunday at 12pm to face the Madrid‑based team. In the first phase, held in Tarragona, the Groguets played three matches against Getafe CF (4-0), Real Oviedo (0-1) and Sevilla (3-0). The reigning champions of the ‘Compañerismo’ group, competing this season in the ‘Deportividad’ group, will be aiming for their first win of the season in the most inclusive competition in Spain.
In Cádiz, Villarreal EDI will be coached by Claudia Chust, Marta Cádiz, Rafael Julián and Antonio Jiménez and represented by the following players: Abraham Martínez, Javier Ruiz, José Manuel Vicent, Daniel Ortiz, Iván Centelles, Marc Gimeno, Óscar Conesa, David García, Eduardo Hernández, Iván Mengual, Nerea Gil, Ricardo Pitarch, Jessica Barquier, Jordi Fuentes, Juan Miguel Meseguer and Miguel Ángel Archela.
