    Ilias Akhomach receives medical green light

    The Spanish-Moroccan footballer has recovered from an anterior cruciate ligament injury in his right knee

    Spanish-Moroccan player Ilias Akhomach has received medical clearance after completing the recovery process from the surgery he underwent to repair a complete rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee.

    The Yellows forward sustained the injury during the league match against Deportivo Alavés at the Estadio de la Cerámica and was operated on 15th November 2024 by Dr Joan Carles Monllau in Barcelona, under the supervision of Villarreal CF’s medical services.
