The Yellows and the school extend their collaboration agreement, which has been in place for almost a decade
Villarreal CF and the IES Miralcamp school in Vila-real have renewed the collaboration agreement that they entered into almost a decade ago and which establishes joint lines of action for the comprehensive education of the youngsters who play for the Yellow Submarine and study at the school in Vila-real, located just a few steps away from the José Manuel Llaneza Training Ground.
The extension of the agreement between the two entities took place in the offices of the José Manuel Llaneza Training Ground. Representing Villarreal CF were the Villarreal CF director of football, Miguel Ángel Tena; the coordinator of 11-a-side football, Pablo Cañada; the head of the Endavant programme, Paloma Masó; and the director of the residence, José Ramón Villalba; while on behalf of the school, the management team was present, made up of the head teacher, M. Teresa Langa; the deputy head, M. Luisa Alba; the Heads of Studies of ESO, Baccalaureate and Cycles, Nàdia de los Rosales and Sebastià Roglà; and the coordinator of Formative Cycles, Adrián Eixeres.
With the extension of the agreement, both Villarreal CF and IES Miralcamp reaffirm their commitment to collaborate together with the aim of training and educating Villarreal’s academy players. The Yellows strive to offer the best education to their youngest players, looking for a good performance not only in the sporting field, but also in the academic field, allocating significant resources in their integral formation as individuals.
During the last few years of the club, hundreds of academy players have had the opportunity to train at IES Miralcamp. This year, more than 50 youth players attend this educational centre, which is located just a few metres from the Training Ground, on a daily basis.
