Sicer Spain, a Grupo Sicer company located in Nules, becomes one of Villarreal CF’s sponsors.
Villarreal CF and Sicer Spain have reached a collaboration agreement for the company from Castellón to become one of the club’s sponsors this season.
The agreement, which was signed between Villarreal CF’s commercial director Juan Antón, and Alfonso Perea and Rubén Guillamón from Sicer Spain, shows the link between the ceramics sector and the yellow club. On behalf of the club, the commercial director declared: “We are delighted to have the support of a great company like Sicer, with whom we share values such as effort and teamwork. We welcome them to the grogueta family, we are sure that we will continue to reap success together”.

Sicer was founded in 1993 in the heart of Italian ceramics. With an initial focus on third-fired ceramic decoration, the business grew over the years and moved back towards traditional ceramic floor and wall tiles, but without neglecting decoration. The ambition of its partners meant that growth began to expand beyond Italy’s borders, with Spain being one of its first foreign branches in the year 2000. Since then, it has not stopped growing locally and reaching all the vitrified and decorative products for ceramic surfaces. Today, Spain has a production plant for frits, compound and liquid glazes and grits, and a worldwide presence with offices in Indonesia, India, Turkey, USA and Mexico.
Sicer’s deep roots in Spanish ceramic companies and the fact that it is able to have a closer relationship with each one of them every day has led Sicer to consider this collaboration with Villarreal CF, the heart and standard bearer of ceramics from Castellón, wherever it is reaping its successes.
