Villarreal CF and Joma extend their partnership for four more seasons
Villarreal CF has officially presented its new home kit for the 2023/2024 season. Fans can now purchase it in person at the official stores and also in the online store.
Those in charge of acting as models for a day to show off the new kit were first team player Raúl Albiol, Villarreal B midfielder Carlo Adriano and Villarreal Women defender Cristina Cubedo. The three of them posed in the new-look stands at the Estadio de la Cerámica.

What works had to be renewed. Villarreal CF and Joma have reached a renewal agreement for the next four seasons for the prestigious Spanish sports brand to continue as the club’s exclusive official technical sports sponsor. This contractual relationship began in July 2016.
Under this agreement, all the sports and training equipment for any of the club’s categories will be supplied by Joma. Likewise, the brand will be the only one able to manufacture, market and supply official Villarreal CF sports equipment.
The second and away kit, soon
Following the announcement of the home kit, the away and third kits will be unveiled in the near future.
Some things never change, but they’re cool
The yellow shirt is a symbol of Villarreal. The development is the result of a great collaborative process between the brand and the club. As a result, the current aesthetic maintains the colour that gives it its famous nickname. The uniforms take up its essence, combining it with renewed aspects and with an elegant style in recycled fabric. To give it a special, modern touch, a jacquard finish has been applied that creates waves in the fabric and, at the same time, helps perspiration to evaporate.
As usual, it comes with remodelled navy blue details, including the small emblem on the back.
The garment’s design features a regular pattern with a ribbed crew neck and mesh v-neck detail. It features a sleeve opening with a double mesh and rib finish. At the hem, the fit is optimised with half ribbing. All this contributes to the freedom of movement and comfort for Villarreal CF players.
An eco-friendly shirt for a sustainable planet
For the new kits, Joma has reaffirmed its commitment to caring for the environment by making the elastic 100% recycled polyester. Most of the kits that the brand manufactures already have this fabric. It is made from recycled sources, especially PET bottles, which become raw material. In this way, 75% of CO2 emissions are reduced and the use of petroleum is avoided.
Regarding the benefits when exercising, recycled polyester provides elasticity, resistance and good breathability.
The best technology on the market
Joma, as an expert in sport, has incorporated the most cutting-edge technological qualities into the Villarreal CF kit. This is the result of the great investment in R+D+i carried out in recent years. The products that will be on sale also follow these quality standards.
Firstly, the MICRO-MESH SYSTEM technology is located in the areas of greatest perspiration (the armpits) to help moisture evaporate quickly. This keeps the player’s body dry, comfortable and prevents post-exercise cooling.
On the other hand, each piece of fabric has been joined together using the FLATLOCK flatlock seam system, which prevents the appearance of possible chafing on the skin and enhances comfort in the game.
Not to be forgotten is the Villarreal CF crest, which appears on the front thanks to JOMA SPORTECH technology. This technique, inherited from footwear, consists of the thermo-sealing of rubber pieces. This flexible and resistant material does not add weight and does not cause discomfort.
Finally, the 2023/2024 Joma collection for Villarreal CF is completed with the rest of the playing products, with a wide range of training garments and another collection for leisure.
