Villarreal CF will announce the final results in the preview of the Legends Match (25th March, 5:30pm CET) at the Estadio de la Cerámica
Villarreal CF has made it possible to vote for the historic XI and the best goal in the club’s history in the top flight. Fans can access and select their favourite choices easily through the club’s website.
Because of the #CentenariGroguet, the club’s centenary, and the special ‘Legends Match’ to be held on Saturday 25th March, from 5.30pm CET, at the Estadio de la Cerámica, Villarreal CF has promoted this great activity to recognise the greatest legends in the history of the Yellow Submarine.
For the selection of the historic XI, Villarreal CF has chosen a total of 72 players from different positions so that the fans can choose their XI under the tactical design of a 4-4-2, the club’s most special formation.
In the vote for the best goal, the club has chosen 21 spectacular goals by some of the most emblematic players to have worn the Villarreal CF shirt. Supporters can choose their three favourites, rating them with three, two and and points, with three being the maximum score.
Villarreal CF will announce the winners of both votes during the preview of the ‘Legends Match’ on Saturday 25th March, from 5.30pm. On the pitch of the Estadio de la Cerámica, the club will recognise their career and pay tribute to the most emblematic players in the club’s history.
The voting period will remain open until Wednesday 22nd March at 2pm CET.
