Three groguetes have made it to the second round of the prestigious Futbol Draft awards! The three Yellow players are still eligible for the Futbol Draft 2022 Awards after the latest update of the lists.
The Official Committee, made up of representatives from all Spanish football institutions, has made the second cut of 55 youth players in the men’s category and 33 youth players in the women’s category. Yeremy Pino is in the battle to appear in the best eleven as a right winger against other candidates such as Nico Williams (Athletic Club), Germán Valera (Atlético de Madrid), Ilias Akhomach (FC Barcelona) and Naim García (CD Leganés). Maria Llompart and Cienfu, as midfielders, will fight to get into the eleven against Ana Torrodà (Valencia CF).
The Futbol Draft® Official Committee is made up of all the coaches of the Royal Spanish Football Federation in the youth categories, as well as recognised experts in youth football and members of the main institutions of Spanish football (RFEF, LaLiga, AFE, CSD and AEAF). In this edition, the committee has counted with the following participants: Javier Lasagabaster (Futbol Draft® General Manager), Francis Hernández (RFEF National Teams Coordinator), Luis de la Fuente (U-21 Coach), Santi Denia (U-19 Coach), Pablo Amo (U-18 Coach), Julen Guerrero (U-16 Coach), Montse Tomé (Second coach of the Spanish Women’s National Team and U-23 coach), Nacho Silván (expert in youth football), Cristian García (representing the presidency of the Riojan Federation) and Raúl Ojeda (representing LaLiga).
