Diego Collado scored for Spain U20s against Bahrain
Yesterday was intense Sunday of football at the COTIF. Many Yellows players took centre stage, with Spain U20 men’s team with Diego Collado, Iván Morante and Álex Baena; Spain U19s women’s team with Aixa Salvador; and Villarreal Ladies First Team all involved.
Collado, Morante and Baena all started for Spain in their 2-0 win over Bahrain, with Collado scoring the second goal of the game. The other goal came from Marc Tenas.
Baena played the whole match, while Morante and Collado left the pitch in the 41st minute. The victory means Spain can still dream of reaching the final.
Game between Spain U19s and Villarreal Ladies
Villarreal Ladies First Team also played at the COTIF yesterday. They faced Spain U19s, who had Salvador in their ranks.
Spain won 3-1 with Salvador playing every minute. The Villarreal goal came from María Colonques.
With this result, ‘La Roja’ move to the top of the group.
