Villarreal goalkeeper Sergio Asenjo appeared in front of the press to analyse the controversial defeat at San Mamés, in a game marred by questionable refereeing decisions. “They explain to us exactly when it is a penalty and when it isn’t. It will have to be clear. In the first penalty, Pau’s arms are like they are to not commit a foul. The ball hits his elbow because he can’t cut hit off. The referee didn’t give us any explication. He didn’t do it with the heavy challenge on Cazorla either. It was a red.”
