Villarreal CF has prepared a day full of activities to enjoy the build-up to the match against Elche CF, corresponding to matchday 27 of LALIGA EA Sports, which will take place on Sunday, March 8, at 14:00, at the Estadio de la Cerámica.

Georges Mikautadze will receive the award for Best Player of LALIGA EA Sports in February during the build-up to the match against Elche CF. In this way, the Georgian attacker will present the trophy to the fans, who will be able to recognise his great performance during the past month.
8M, International Women’s Day
On the occasion of Women’s Day, Villarreal CF has shed light on the history of the first Villarreal Women’s team and wanted to pay tribute to that group of pioneers who dared to break stereotypes, creating one of the first women’s football teams in 1970. In this way, this group of pioneers will step onto the pitch and take a photo together with the Submarino’s starting eleven.
In addition, on this occasion, the yellow players will wear a very special patch on the front of the shirt with the slogan ‘Groguetes de Cor’.
Food collection campaign for the Sahara
Both in the Fan Zone, located in the square of the Estadio de la Cerámica, and at the APV (Agrupació de Penyes del Villarreal CF) headquarters, there will be food collection points in favour of the Sahrawi people. Fans who wish to collaborate can bring non-perishable food, medical supplies, hygiene products and school materials.
This food collection campaign will also be repeated in the build-up to the match against Real Sociedad (Friday, March 20).
Activities in the Fan Zone
From 12:00, fans will be able to enjoy the Fan Zone, located in the outer square of the Estadio de la Cerámica, which will once again feature numerous activities designed so that both children and adults can enjoy a great pre-match atmosphere. Thus, groguet fans will be able to enjoy a 3×3 field, face painting, crafts, ball-eating game, a playzone by EA Sports and an activation by Ambar Triple Cero.
Groc Talent
The Groc Talent performance, the last before the grand final that will take place next Friday the 20th at 19:00, will start at 12:45 and will be carried out by the Valencian duo Valancea. It should be remembered that Groc Talent is Villarreal CF’s music contest in collaboration with the SanSan Festival and the Vila-real City Council.
Valancea, the Valencian duo made up of Iciar Berenguer and Enrique Peydró, provides the soundtrack to modern life, heartbreak and the disappointments of an entire generation. With a sound in the purest synth-indie-pop style based on rhythms and catchy melodies.
Peña Els Ports, protagonist of the day
The supporters’ club featured on the day will be the Villafranca-based group Els Ports, which will step onto the pitch to take a photo with the Yellow Submarine’s starting eleven.
