

Villarreal CF sign the Senegal native midfielder for the next five seasons
Villarreal CF and Real Betis Balompie have come to an agreement to sign Alfred N’Diaye, who will wear Yellow for the next five seasons.
Alfred N’Diaye (Paris, 6th March 1990) made his professional debut in 2007 at 17 years old for AS Nancy-Lorraine. He remained at the club until the 2010/11 season, playing a total of 73 matches before signing for Bursaspor in Turkey (66 matches, 8 goals).
In 2013, the midfielder signed for AFC Sunderland where he played 16 matches before transferring to Eskisehirspor in Turkey on loan (19 matches, 4 goals). Then N’Diaye signed for Real Betis on loan and was finally contracted by the green and whites in the summer of 2014. He has been one of the team’s key players since their promotion to the top flight of Spanish football, playing a total of 85 matches and scoring 3 goals.
He has played internationally on many occasions for the youth categories of the French national team (U17, U19, U20 and U21), but he finally chose to play for the Senegal national team at Senior level, making his debut in August 2013 at 23 years old. He has played a total of 10 matches and scored 1 goal for Senegal.
N’Diaye is physically a very strong player, standing at 187cm, making him a great ball winner. He plays an important defensive role as he is very consistent and also possesses great all round technical ability and is versatile. Welcome N’Diaye!
